All of these items are original and almost 40 years old. There are no rips or tears. How can the originality be verified? My grandfather owned this car. He bought it new from the dealership in 1965.


If you have a 1965 Chevrolet show car, this is the set you want. Automobile judges take off points if the car is not original. This is original down to the clear plastic sleeve that the owners guide comes in. Give yourself an edge over the competition. I have seen a few of these for sale on EBAY and none of them come with everything listed above.


The owners guide is the second edition, printed in 1964. It is in new condition. There is no writing in this book. The Chevrolet Manual slip is still attached. The Part # is 3859588.


The gas filter tag from Ed Nacke Chevrolet, Inc. is in great shape and just mentions about changing the gas filter. This is a dealer item and is extremely rare.


The 1965 Chevrolet Owner Protection Plan is in good condition. It includes the metal Protect-o-Plate. It is for the Chevrolet / Chevelle / Chevy II / Corvair / and Corvette. There is some very minor smudges on the cover an on some pages, but it is not very bad. The number 4267 is written on the cover in small print in the the upper right corner. The back of the plan is filled out completely and the perforated page that one would mail in is not present.


The Clear Plastic Owner's Manual Sleeve is very rare. There are no rips or tears and it is not faded. It's part number is 3834959.
